Meet the Crunchers: Ed Pottenger, Account Manager

What is your position at Document Crunch and what do you do in your role?

I am the Account Manager at Document Crunch. This entails being a Swiss Army knife of sorts with a major focus on understanding what makes our customers tick and how can we iterate on the value they see in our product to ensure they are successful and thriving. My favorite aspect of this is fostering meaningful relationships with our customers. I seek to partner with them and advocate for their fundamental needs so we can help ease their burden in an ever-growing industry.

How would your fellow employees describe you?

Ed is an absolute rock star! He is driven, dedicated and passionate about producing high quality work. He goes above and beyond and always has a positive attitude. And the icing on the cake...Ed is a good human; kind, genuine and just overall fun. Couldn't be happier to have him on the team! - Whitney Pilla

Ed is one of the hardest working Account Managers in the business. He builds deep and trusted relationships with our customers, and they love him and know he has their backs. He ensures our customers maximize the value from Document Crunch and he synthesizes their wants and needs for our Product team so we continue to make great investments in building solutions that best serve them now and in the future. - Trent Miskelly

Well, I have to avoid his physical attributes, so.... He's smart, thorough, funny, and the best to collaborate with. - Nancy Sheely

"Ed is the definition of a team player and also a constant motivator. I can see why our clients love working with him and know they are in great hands with Ed." - Lori Peters

“Ed is just simply the best!! He is truly one of the kindest and most extraordinary humans I’ve ever met. We’re all about our people at Document Crunch and Ed is an amazing example of all the things that make this team so special. His positivity radiates through everything he does and I feel very lucky to work with someone as inspiring as Ed.” - Maddie Hagy

What is a surprising or fun fact about you?

Pizza. Hands down, no questions...could eat pizza every meal the rest of my life.
Or
One of my favorite hobbies is cooking, catch me around a smoker...can make some mean BBQ

Who or what inspires you the most?

People, their resiliency, the ability to understand, educate, and constantly overcome obstacles.

What drew you to Document Crunch?

I was approached by a former colleague on a potential opening. At the time I had little interest in a transition and was blissfully ignorant towards the magnitude of the gap Document Crunch was trying to bridge. That was...until I talked with Josh Levy and Trent Miskelly. I left those conversations incredibly inspired, not only about what solution Document Crunch was providing, but about the shear caliber of the team and pure devotion towards changing the industry. The people drew me to Document Crunch and, in tandem with the mission, continue to inspire me daily.

What do you like most about being a Cruncher?

The people. Our customers and my internal colleagues. I get to spend every day working with like-minded people whom I would consider friends rather than colleagues.
